Welcome to Cairo! We will tell you about Giza and its Great Pyramids! Let’s take a look at the Sphinx, which keeps all the secrets. You will see the ancient citadel and the Mohammed Ali Mosque hidden inside it. You will visit the National Egyptian Museum, where we will show you the most interesting of 150 thousand artifacts.

What to expect:

Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx We will start the tour with a trip to the greatest architectural monuments, the age of which is about 4 thousand years: the pyramids of Cheops, Khafre and Mykerinos. During the inspection of the pyramids, you will immerse yourself in the history of their origin, learn interesting facts regarding the construction and burial of the pharaohs. We will pay special attention to the 20-meter statue of the Sphinx, whose face is turned towards the rising sun and the Nile.

National Egyptian Museum You will visit the place where the best exhibits of ancient Egyptian art are collected, located on Tahrir Square. You will see the famous mask of Tutankhamun, sarcophagi of the pharaohs, various papyri and manuscripts, mummies, statues of gods and many other unique exhibits. You will visit the halls dedicated to the ancient Egyptian kingdoms – Old, Middle and New, as well as the Roman Hall with artifacts from the period of Roman rule in Egypt.

Saladin Citadel and Alabaster Mosque Saladin Citadel is one of the main attractions of Cairo. Huge round towers and 10-meter walls make a strong impression. The fortress is the residence of the rulers of Egypt. The citadel houses the Alabaster Mosque, built by order of Muhammad Ali. We will look at its decoration, the octagonal fountain for ablutions before prayer and the clock tower – a gift from King Louis Philippe.
